WINTER EXERCISE CLASS BEGINS - Come And Walk The Walk

Did you overindulge during the holidays? Are you feeling the need to get back into shape?

You are in for a treat - an exercise treat that is.

On Tuesday, January 7, Knotts Memorial UM Church will start their low impact aerobic exercise classes. Classes will meet each Tuesday and Thursday at 7 p.m. each night during the months of January, February, and March.

This year we will begin our exercise class with a Christian Inspired workout called 'Walk the Walk' by Leslie Sansone. This is an uplifting 'in-home walking' workout that is a great way to get both physically and spiritually fit. It's a faith-centered, energizing workout that will leave you feeling revitalized inside and out.

We will begin the 1-mile beginner walk that takes approximately 20 minutes. It is a gentle and effective 1-mile workout that will condition your heart, strengthen your muscles and bones, and increase your energy all while clearing your mind of stress and tension. As we progress, we will work our way up to the 2-mile intermediate walk that is about 35 minutes. All you need is a good pair of walking shoes to join us.

We will end our exercising with a guided meditative prayer, sharing healthy information and recipes!

We had such a great time last year, that we can't wait to get started again. So, if you overindulged during the holidays or if you just want to get together with a bunch of people and have a good time - come to the classes. You will be very glad that you did!
