"The Minnora Community Center is coming back to life," says board member Donna Jordan. Lots of requests are coming in
to rent the facility for parties and reunions and a
new rental policy includes prices to fit everyone's budget.
Some new activities will be taking place at the MCC this month. Saturday, January 4, everyone is invited to an auction. The
doors will open at 5:30 and the bidding begins at 6:00. Household items, collectibles, and many other items will be offered,
and
food will be available. Future auctions are being planned for the first Saturday of each month.
Friday, January 24, everyone is invited to put on their dancing feet, and learn how to line dance. All ages are welcome, so
bring the family and have some fun.
The Board of Directors will meet on Sunday, January 12 at 2:00 p.m. upstairs in the MCC office. The public is encouraged
to
attend. Additional board members are being sought, and an election of new officers will take place. "Come on out and get
