MAN INJURED BY FALLING TREE AIR-LIFTED TO CHARLESTON

Responders had their work cut out after a man was injured Wednesday by a falling tree on Blown Timber, off Milo Road.

The man, about 50, suffered head and multiple trauma, according to reports.

He was hand carried on a stretcher to reach a UTV from the Upper West Fork VFD, before reaching an ambulance.

He was taken to a Charleston medical center by chopper, the chopper landing close to the scene.

The Arnoldsburg VFD also responded to the 12:05 p.m. call.
