Longtime Calhoun educator Ron Blankenship was elected mayor of Grantsville Tuesday, garnering 33 votes to his opponent Robert Petrovsky's 20 votes. He was elected to a two-year term staring July 1. The five council members did not have opponents. Serving, Cheryl Cheesebrew, Linda Jarvis, Dorothy McCauley, Judy Powell and Helen Johnson
