LAST REQUEST: FUTURE OF HUR HERALD ON-LINE IN YOUR HANDS - Donations Needed Now, Herald Could Go Dark May 31

(05/11/2017)

IF YOU WANT HERALD ONLINE, FUNDS ARE NEEDED

Since the Herald quit doing comprehensive daily news on May 31, 2016, we did a brief fundraiser to keep it on-line for another year, and was able to raise enough funds to do that.

Prior to the May, 2016 fundraiser, the previous fundraiser was 1 1/2 years before.

Since then, we have done some news updates, mostly stories that would not ordinarily be covered, plus new history stories and stories from the vast history archives still available.

That year is ending, and we do not have the income to continue to subsidize it on our own.

We are asking for faithful Hur Herald readers to donate during May to keep it going - the server, tech, satellite, and equipment costs.

It is suggested that Readers who have favorite stories or photos on the Herald archives make copies, in case the on-line presence goes dark.

The entire archives have been donated to Glenville State College.

We always remain grateful to our faithful readers and supporters.
