BRAXTON BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT DIES - Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound Kills Ramsey The suspect in the armed robbery of City National Bank in Gassaway on October 10th has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Officials discovered the body of Christopher Ramsey in a bathtub at the home of his mother in Gassaway on December 29th.

Braxton Sheriff Howard Carpenter said family sources had indicated young Ramsey had considered turning himself end, after he had fled to Ohio and Kentucky.

Ramsey's image was recorded on a video surveillance tape, after he apparently entered the bank and demanded money.
