HISTORICAL SOCIETY SEEKING DONATIONS TO "HEAT THE HOTEL"

The Calhoun County Historical Society is continuing with its "Heat the Hotel" fundraiser. The purpose is to secure sufficient funding to purchase and install an HVAC system for the Historic Stump Hotel, located on Main Street in Grantsville. The hotel was built in the 1880's. The displays and furnishings suffer from the absence of a climate controlled environment. The Society extends its deep appreciation to the following for their donations in 2017: Larry and Denise Stinn, Matt Stinn, Eleanor Caltabiano, Gerald Jarvis, Calhoun Banks, Norma Knotts Shaffer, Houchin Construction. All contributions are tax deductible and may be made to the Calhoun County Historical Society, 123 Johnson Street, Grantsville, WV 26147. Craft items are on display in the History Center window on Main Street, Grantsville.
