UNITED METHODIST VOLUNTEERS DELIVER 42,000 POUNDS POTATOES TO CALHOUN, SEVEN MORE COUNTIES

Thousands of pounds of potatoes were delivered to the mountain state in an effort to help those in need.

42,000 pounds of potatoes were grown in Maine and arrived in Parkersburg Friday.

United Methodist Men Fellowship volunteers delivered the potatoes to pantries in Calhoun, Doddridge, Jackson, Pleasants, Ritchie, Roane, Wirt, and Wood counties Saturday morning.

The Methodist men have partnered for years through the Society of St. Andrews.
