SPENCER CRASH INJURES CALHOUN TRIO

Two choppers landed in Spencer Monday to transported two victims to Charleston following a two car collision, while others were taken to local hospitals.

An Orma, Calhoun woman, Tammy Hively, 48, was injured with two Mt. Zion passengers, Cordelia Smith and Margaret Godbey, all receiving injuries.

Spencer Newspapers reported the Hively car went across the center line on Black Walnut Avenue (US 119) in Spencer and struck a car driven by Loretta Koon, 43, of Spencer, with husband Michael Koon a passenger.

The nature or condition of those injured was not available.
