West Virginia State Police are reviewing potential video evidence after a shooting was reported about midnight Friday in Clay County.

Police are reporting that a woman, identified as Sheri Brown, was the victim of the shooting.

The victim was at a bar known as the Cozy Corner, which is located on Rt. 16 near the intersection of I-79, the Big Otter area.

Police say eight shots were apparently fired from a car driving along Interstate 79.

Troopers say it appears the shots were fired from a car driving in the northbound lane of the interstate. They also believe the bar was the intended target and don't believe it was an accidental shooting.

Brown was shot in the neck and is currently in stable condition.

Brown spoke with Eyewitness TV8 News from her hospital bed and says doctors have told her she may never be able to use her left arm again. She says she's desperate to find out why someone did this.

Witnesses say there were about seven people in the bar and some were playing pool when it sounded like firecrackers were going off. They say the next thing they knew, Brown was covered in blood.

She was flown to CAMC General.
