MINNIE HAMILTON GETS SMALL GRANT TO DELIVERY PRIMARY CARE

U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) announced that a total of $3,358,366 in grant funding from the U.S. Department of Health Human Services (HHS) Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) has been awarded to 28 West Virginia health centers. Minnie Hamilton Health System in Grantsville received $53,693. The funding will help support the health centers that provide primary and preventive care. Other regional centers receiving grants: · $54,848 - Wirt County Health Services Association, Inc. (Elizabeth, WV) · $46,564 - Roane Co. Family Health Care, Inc. (Spencer, WV) · $49,835 - Ritchie County Primary Care Association, Inc. (Harrisville,WV)
