CLAY MAN FACING FIVE CHANGES AFTER GUN INCIDENT

A Clay County man was incarcerated early Sunday morning in Central Regional Jail, following what was first reported to State Police as a hostage situation related to Rt. 16.

Several state and county officers from multiple counties responded to the incident late Saturday night.

David Lee Patterson, 58 (left) was charged with five felonies, wanton endangerment, shooting across the road, brandishing a deadly weapon, obstructing and domestic assault.

Bond has yet to be set.

Patterson had previously been charged in Braxton County with reckless driving, obstructing police by fleeing and manufacture, possession of controlled substance, with intent to deliver.
