Bethlehem kids perform for Christmas program

The Bethlehem Baptist Church at Grantsville, the oldest continuing church in the county, had their annual Christmas program last night - "An Evening of Blessings," with Dot Curry serving as the announcer.

Brittany Miller welcomed those attending, asking them to "Listen to each word said, each song sung." Austin Wiss read "My Gift to Him."

A skit "Heralds of the King," was delivered by Brandon Reed, Justin Yeager, Zac Yeager, Caleab Schoolcraft, Paul Funk and Sandra Funk. Ritchie Jones gave a reading "Let Us Rejoice."

Jeremiah Marks read "A Christmas Prayer" and Denise Miller sang "What Child is This."

A play "The Christmas Dream" was performed by Josh Funk, Ashley Reed, Amber Pennington, Jessica Metz, Denise Miller and Lauren Myers, with a song "Christmas Isn't Christmas" by Denise Miller.

Richie Jones read, "Let Us Rejoice." A song "Bethlehem Lullaby" was sung by Ashley Reed, Lauren Myers, Amber Pennington, Jessica Metz and Denise Miller.

"Christmas Wish," Jeff and Ethan Miller. The youth group sang "Come On, Ring the Bells, "Go Tell it on the Mountain" and "Immanuel, Immanuel." A "Christmas Wish" was given by Jeff and Ethan Miller and Jacob McCumbers delivered the closing.
