Cathy Marie Kaneshiro, 58, of Reedy, West Virginia, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 24, 1957, at Honolulu, Hawaii, a daughter of Albert Riveira of Waianae, Hawaii and the late Mary Torres Riveira. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Souza. In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Lincoln H. Kaneshiro of Reedy; a son, Shannon Kaneshiro of Prescott Valley AZ; two daughters, Tracie Chun of Pflugerville TX and Kahelena Kaneshiro of Reedy; five sisters, Barbara Carter of Marysville CA, Norma Scott of Murphys CA, Alberta Berger of St. Helena CA, JoAnne Riveira of Hilo, HI and Mary Lou Frostad of Kona HI; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 23 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Rick Cutright officiating.
