She was born December 24, 1957, at Honolulu, Hawaii, a daughter of Albert Riveira of Waianae, Hawaii and the late Mary Torres Riveira.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Souza.

In addition to her father, survivors include her husband, Lincoln H. Kaneshiro of Reedy; a son, Shannon Kaneshiro of Prescott Valley AZ; two daughters, Tracie Chun of Pflugerville TX and Kahelena Kaneshiro of Reedy; five sisters, Barbara Carter of Marysville CA, Norma Scott of Murphys CA, Alberta Berger of St. Helena CA, JoAnne Riveira of Hilo, HI and Mary Lou Frostad of Kona HI; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 23 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Rick Cutright officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
