RUSH RUN MAN FACING FORGERY CHARGES

A Calhoun man was charged in Spencer on forgery charges, and was incarcerated in Central Regional Jail, according to Spencer Newspapers.

Johnathan Scott Stephenson, 31, of Rush Run Road, Orma, was charged on three counts each for forgery, uttering a forged instrument, and obtaining goods under false pretenses. His bond was placed at $66,000.

Roane Sheriff Cole alleges Stephenson made three charges at Hardman's of Spencer of $300 to the account of Dale Chapman.

Stephenson was identified as the step-son of the victims step-son.
