The Calhoun County Committee on Aging, Grantsville Center, is very excited to offer a free beginner quilting class to adults of any age.

Martha Harris and Patty Cain, two local and experienced quilters have graciously offered to teach this basic quilting class beginning on July 5th and running every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for 4-6 weeks.

"Turning Twenty" (a 20 block quilt) will be the quilt being taught. Pattern, rulers, and mat will be provided. Class space is limited to four individuals with the hope of future classes being offered for interested parties.

We hope the class fills quickly and that there will be many more in the future. It has been said that quilts are like friends - a great source of comfort and warmth. Don't miss this wonderful chance to complete your very own quilt. Call today to reserve your spot in the course (304)-354-7017. The Deadline for signing up is June 20.
