Charles Lee Duncan, 84 - Elmira, WV

Charles Lee Duncan, 84, of Elmira WV, went to his heavenly home May 10, 2016 at Braxton County Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 30, 1932 a son of the late William Asbury and Anna Belle Talkington Duncan.

He was preceded in death by brothers, William "Bill" Duncan and Keith Metheney; sister, Nancy Duncan.

He loved to hunt, fish and listen to Blue Grass music.

He is survived by brother, Thomas Duncan of Akron OH; sisters, Virginia Hall of Cuyahoga Fall OH, Martha Gill and Sherry Davis both of Barboursville WV, Mary Duncan of St. Albans WV, Wilma Hall of Sissonville WV and Glenna Metheney of St. Albans; his special caregiver for 27 years, Maysel; several nieces and nephews.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the Gip Church with Pastor Russell Copen and Pastor Lester Tanner officiating. Burial will be in the Elmira Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to service at the church.
