Bob Weaver, a 3 term Calhoun County Commissioner, congratulates his young opponent, Michael Hicks on his primary election win Newcomer Michael Hicks soundly defeated incumbent Bob Weaver and Melissa Falls for a six-year county commission seat in the Democrat contest. Michael Hicks 730 Melissa Falls 429 Bob Weaver 412 Hicks will be facing-off this fall against Republican Anita West, who received 372 votes, and also Independent Pokey Hardway.
