| Bradford L. "Brady" Carper, Jr. 70, of Akron, Ohio, died Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Akron General VNS Hospice Care.
He was born May 20, 1945 at Clio, WV, a son of the late Bradford L. and Mabel M. Westfall Carper.
He was retired from Wrayco Industries in Stow, Ohio, where he was employed as a welder. He also attended the Johnson Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters; Shelby Key, and Martha Carper.
Survivors include his son, Ian S. Carper of Canal Fulton OH; brothers, Larry Carper of Left Hand WV, Keith Carper of Akron OH, Billy Carper of Uniontown OH; sisters, Shirley Eminger of Akron OH, Janice Jones of Los Angeles CA, Juanita Webb of Looneyville, Kay Hall of Amma WV, Theresa Goodwin of Looneyville, and Connie Carper of Akron, OH.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. David Looney officiating. Burial will be in the Amma Cemetery, Amma. The family will receive visitors from Noon until the time of service.
