LOGAN ARMED ROBBERY - West Virginia State Police is investigating a reported armed robbery in Logan County.

Officers responded to an active armed robbery at a home on Justice Avenue early Saturday morning.

The suspects left the scene and troopers later pulled it over in a traffic stop and arrested two people.

After investigating further, a third person was arrested.

All three suspects are charged with armed robbery, burglary and conspiracy

Charged are Lowell Farley, 40, of Monaville, and Jeffrey Moore, 35, of Wilkinson, are charged with armed robbery, burglary and conspiracy. Matthew Toney, 28, is charged with conspiracy.

The suspects got away with an unknown amount of cash. A gun and money were found in the get-away vehicle, according to troopers.

All three are being held in the Southwestern Regional Jail.

FIREARM DISCHARGED AT POOL - The University of Charleston and the Huntington Charleston Aquatic Team (HYCAT) are assessing security measures after an incident involving a firearm at the pool Friday evening.

About 6:30 p.m. Friday, there was an accidental discharge of a handgun on the pool deck.

According to a release from HYCAT, the gun wasn't holstered and was in a parent's waistband.

MORGANTOWN ROBBERY - Morgantown Police Department is searching for the man responsible for robbing the Little General Store on Van Voorhis Road Saturday night.

Officers said, a black man with a goatee, wearing a red Nike hooded sweatshirt, grey sweatpants, white gloves, and a black Under Armour backpack came into the store around 8:15 p.m.

When officers arrived, they were informed by the clerk that the store had been robbed by a man armed with a knife.
