GRANTSVILLE MAN FACING DRUG CHARGES - Police Chief Uses Confidential Informants

(04/30/2016)
Grantsville police chief Andy Walker has charged Andrew David Woodring, 28, of 314 Main Street, with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

A criminal complaint says Walker used two confidential informants to make purchases of marijuana and Psilocybin (aka mushrooms) from Woodring.

The complaint says marked money was used to purchase six grams of marijuana and mushrooms.

Woodring, in the complaint, said he sold about $800 in a two week period, with officers discovering about 90 grams of marijuana in zip-lock bags in addition to paraphernalia.

He was taken to Central Regional Jail.

Walker was assisted by State Police Cpl. Hunt and Trooper Singleton and NPR officer Stephens.
