ROANE MAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF HEROIN AND METH - Ritchie Man Charged Burglary

Calhoun authorities have arrested Leonard Charles Powell, Jr., 42. Powell is charged with assault, domestic assault and reckless driving, according to Central Regional Jail. John Michael Smith, 34, has been arrested by Roane authorities and is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $34,000. Smith is charged with possession of heroin, possession of meth, possession with intent to deliver and prohibited person with a firearm. Ritchie County authorities have brought multiple charges against Justin Earl Hyde, 38, and incarcerated him in North Central Regional Jail. Hyde is charged with burglary, grand larceny DUI 3rd, possession of a controlled substance, leaving the scene of accident with property damage, and driving revoked DUI 3rd.
