FIRE DESTROYS STRUCTURE IN REMOTE AREA OFF UPPER BIG RUN

The Upper West Fork VFD responded to a structure and woods fire Friday night about 10 p.m. The fire was located off Nicut Road in the Upper Big Run area, up a remote area identified as Harmony Trail. When the fire was reported to Calhoun 911, the caller said that most of the structure was on the ground, but there was also a woods fire. Firemen said the structure was totaled on their arrival. Reports indicated that the house had been occupied. No other information available.
