NOTICE TO CALHOUN COUNTY VOTERS - Early Voting Starts

Early voting in the county clerk's office will begin Wednesday, April 27, 2016 thru Friday, May 6, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Also, there will be two Saturdays to early vote - April 30, 2016 and May 7, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Absentee Ballot Applications must be received in the County Clerk's office by May 4, 2016. Election Day will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Polls will open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. As a voter, your political party makes a difference when you vote in the primary election because it determines which ballot you may receive. If you are registered with one of the four recognized political parties (Democratic, Libertarian, Mountain, or Republican), you may only vote that party's ballot or the non-partisan ballot. If you are registered with any other party or with no party, you may ask the poll worker for one of the recognized party's ballots, or they will give you the non-partisan ballot.
