Hartshorn works with in-school group

Kids enjoy get-together

Several HRDF youth from Calhoun met at Calhoun High School yesterday evening to complete a gift wrapping project for county residents and to enjoy a Christmas party.

Debbie Hartshorn, a placement specialist with the Human Resource Development Foundation, said "We are actively working with at least 21 kids in the in-school program, to help them move toward jobs and careers," said Hartshorn.

"This project is to really help young people move ahead," she said. "We are having good results already. Success is the name of the game."

Students also receive money for their involvement in the program.
