(04/20/2016)
State Police are investigating a vandalism incident that happened at Calhoun Middle-High School over the weekend.

Superintendent Tim Woodward said a single individual used spray paint to paint Clay County Panthers on the front doors, sidewalk, trash cans, and parking lot.

The cameras did record individual and all information has been turned over to the investigating officer.

The school system believes the vandalism happened about 10 p.m. Saturday.

Woodward said there was no entry to the school, which was secured and locked.

"The writing has been cleaned from the building structure and is no longer visible. At this time I do not have an estimate on the cost to clean up the vandalism to the outside structures," Woodward said.
