CALHOUN MEN INCARCERATED ON METH CHARGES

Calhoun residents have been arrested following a shoplifting investigation at Spencer's Walmart.

Police were called to the store related to an alleged shoplifting incident involving David Allen Booher, 50, whose residence was identified as Altizer Road.

The Roane Co. Sheriffs Department discovered an FM modulator in a vehicle parked near the store, according to Spencer Newspapers.

While questioning a trio, police said they could smell meth, and then discovered meth and meth making ingredients and drugs in the vehicle.

Booher was charged with possession of meth with intention to deliver. He was charged in Roane County and taken to Central Regional Jail with bond at $105,000.

Katherine R. Walls and her boyfriend Aaron James Spaur, 32, were also detained.

Police said Spaur was aggressive when confronted at Walmart, and officers obtained a warrant for his residence in Calhoun, after which he was charged with attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab.

He was charged in Calhoun and is being held at Central Regional Jail with bond at $100,000.
