MCCUNE SET FOR SENTENCING TODAY IN CIRCUIT COURT - Five Felony Cases On Docket

Corey Metheney is scheduled in Calhoun Circuit Court Monday for a status hearing, after his conviction of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, according to prosecutor Shannon Johnson.

Metheney was placed on five years supervised probation. Following that, he is subject to ten years extended supervision under the supervision of an Intensive Sex Offender Probation Officer. He was also required to register as a sex offender.

Prosecutor Johnson said Dennis McCune, who entered a guilty plea to Attempt to Commit Operating and Attempt to Operate Clandestine Drug Laboratories, a felony, will appear for sentencing Monday.

Michael Dewayne Knicely, following a plea hearing related to driving DUI-3 suspended is set for court for sentencing.

Justin McKinney is scheduled in court for a waiver of indictment.

Ashley Easton-White has a status hearing related to probation violation.

Court is set to open at 9:45 a.m. with Judge David W. Nibert presiding.
