CIRCUIT COURT REDUCES CASH'S BOND

In Calhoun Circuit Court Monday, John Cash appeared for a hearing on his motion for bond reduction. Calhoun prosecutor Shannon Johnson said over objection from the State, the court reduced Mr. Cash's bond to thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00) surety to be approved by the County Clerk. If released, Cash will also be placed on home confinement with electronic monitoring as a condition of bond. Gary Ackley's case came on for a hearing on the State's otion to address restitution. Ackley was not transported to the hearing from the Department of Corrections, so the hearing was rescheduled for April 25th.
