The 5th Annual EPUNGI Conference in Bridgeport will focus on the landowner by addressing the most requested topics regarding oil and natural gas development in West Virginia.

Landowners can learn more about making decisions and the options available when it comes to oil and natural gas drilling on the owners land.

The event is sponsored by the WVU Extension Service Natural Gas Education Team. Topics will include:

Finding the right landman
Community planning
Prospects for the future
West Virginia's oil and gas laws
Marcellus well data
Protecting private water supplies
Solving reclamation problems
Wildlife habitat and energy development
Pipeline safety
Property assessment/taxation issues

The conference is May 18, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Bridgeport Conference Center @ Charles Pointe, 300 Conference Center Way, Bridgeport, W.Va. Registration fee is $10. Deadline is May 6, 2016. Pre-registration is required and limited.
