Deborah Ellen O'Brien, 59, of Gandeeville, West Virginia, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Charleston Area Medical Center's Memorial Division in Charleston, West Virginia.
She was born March 31, 1957 in Spencer, West Virginia, a daughter of Phyllis Maxine Webb O'Brien of Spencer, West Virginia and the late Lorenza Franklin O'Brien. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Joshua August of St. Albans, West Virginia and Nicholas (Leslie) August of Fort Benning, Georgia; two sisters, Frankie Diane O'Brien of Brunswick, Ohio and Sherrie Lynn O'Brien of St. Albans; two brothers, Lorenza Franklin "Bud" O'Brien, Jr. of St. Albans and Steven James O'Brien of Huntsville, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Dane Alexander Lang and Zoe August; three nephews, Justin (Shawnee) O'Brien, Thomas (Amanda) O'Brien, and Mark (Marcy) Borotkanics; her ex-husband, John August of Gandeeville; and her step-grandmother, Ruby Webb.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis M. O'Brien.
A service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Daniel McClung officiating. As per the family wishes, she will then be cremated with burial at a later date at the Young Cemetery near Linden, West Virginia.
