Those traveling should take note of the rise in gas prices in West Virginia.

The average price of a gallon of gas is $2.04, according to gasbuddy.com.

Prices are up 30 cents from this time last month, but they are down 39 cents from this time last year.

California has the highest gas prices with an average price of $2.75, and New Jersey has the cheapest at $1.82 a gallon.
