A wild dash for eggs and prizes

The hunt draws kids from all over Calhoun

Hundreds of kids made a wild dash for over 5,000 eggs for treats and prizes at the 22nd annual Melissa Oshoway Memorial Easter Egg Hunt, held Saturday at the Wayne Underwood Field.

The eggs had either a small toy or a piece of candy inside the egg, but some eggs held bigger prizes, a dozen bikes, cash, stuffed animals, and scooters.

The Calhoun County Grief Support Group provided concessions.

Thanks to the following people for a donation to our Easter Egg Hunt, Billie and Wanda Houchin, Knotts Memorial Methodist Church, Anita Parsons, Richard and Karen Kirby, and Sheila Garretson, candidate for Circuit Clerk.
