Three new members were welcomed into the Elk River Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution at the March 16th meeting held at the Gassaway Public Library.

The women reside in three different counties. In the photograph are, Julie Hunt from Braxton County (patriot Benjamin LeMasters), Dolly Starke from Calhoun County (patriot Aaron Smith) and Leah Ashby from Nicholas County (patriot Ralph Stewart).
