| Oval Ray Badgett, 82, of Milton Twp., OH entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 13, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Oval was born on January 24, 1934 in Minnora, WV the son of the late Greely & Maysel (Jarvis) Badgett. He has lived in Milton Twp. since 1956.
Oval married the former Janet Soos on October 20, 1956. Oval & Janet were blessed with 59 wonderful years of marriage. Oval retired in 1999 after 21 years as an autoworker at GM in Lordstown. He was a veteran of the US Army and member of the First Church of God in Newton Falls. Oval enjoyed farming, gardening, attending his family reunions in WV and family cookouts.
Loving memories of Oval will be carried on by his wife, Janet Badgett of Milton Twp., daughters, Laurel (Richard) Novotny of Newton Falls, Tammy (Michael) Jorgensen of Cortland, sons, Stephen (Diane) Badgett of Berlin Center, Rodney (Missi) Badgett of Canfield, sister, Carol (John) Graybill of Roanoke, VA, brother, Loy (Connie) Badgett of Minnora, WV, grandchildren, Mikayla Jorgensen, Jarrod Badgett, Adam (Maggie Stubbs) Badgett, Amanda Badgett, step-grandchildren, Jeremy Dreger and Zach Toroschik. Oval was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Oeta Davis and brother, Randall Badgett.
Oval will be laid to rest at Newton Falls Cemetery. |
