Robert Ray Ferrebee, 77 - Spencer

Robert Ray Ferrebee, 77, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at the Roane General Hospital in Spencer.

He was born December 29, 1938 at Wallback, West Virginia, a son of the late Harley and Ida Mae West Ferrebee.

He was formerly employed at Burke-Parson-Bowlby Corporation in Spencer and Monarch Rubber in Spencer.

He is survived by his daughters, Robin Blosser, Melissa Ferrebee, and Laurette Keene, all of Spencer; an aunt, Mary Rose Ferrebee of Clay County; a son, Leonard Thomas of Spencer; and his siblings, Mary Richards of Sandyville, West Virginia, A.D. "Bud" Ferrebee of Georgia, Charles "Jug" Ferrebee of North Carolina, and Mildred "Toots" Bullard of Maysel, West Virginia; ten grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra J. Ferrebee; a sister, Maysel Ann Rhodes; and five brothers, I.E., A.B., A.P., and two infants.

Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Jeff Fetty officiating. Burial will follow in the Hodam Cemetery near Spencer. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
