STROLLIN' COLON COMING TO GLENVILLE FOR COLON CANCER AWARENESS MONTH

The Strollin' Colon is coming to Glenville on Wednesday, March 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in celebration of Colon Cancer Awareness Month.

Minnie Hamilton Health System's Glenville Clinic (located within in Waco Center) will host a special exhibit for the public to learn about the colon.

Individuals are invited to take a stroll through a 10 foot by 12 foot inflatable colon. The structure shows what a healthy colon looks like as well as what it looks like when cancer is present.

Staff from the Glenville Minnie Hamilton Health System will be present to walk you through the Strollin' Colon, share information and answer questions.

Minnie Hamilton Health System offers free take-home colon cancer tests for their patients aged 50 and older. For more information about this event and/or learn more about the free take-home test, contact the Minnie Hamilton Health System clinic in Glenville at (304)462-7322.
