WOMAN ESCAPES INJURY WHEN CAR PLUNGES OVER HILL AT GRANTSVILLE FOODLAND

A car parked in the Grantsville Foodland parking lot broke loose Wednesday, drifted across the lot and plunged over a steep hill, nearly going into Phillips Run. Authorities said an elderly woman was in the passenger seat when the vehicle crashed. They indicated she was uninjured. Minnie Hamilton EMS, Grantsville Police and VFD responded to the incident at 2:07 p.m.
