STATE DEER KILL NEAR EXPECTATIONS - Antlerless Kill Is Up

The West Virginia Department of Natural Resources say expectations have been reached with the killing 96,435 bucks and bagging 54,379 antlerless deer during the 12-day season that ended December 7.

Paul Johansen, the DNR's assistant Chief of Wildlife Resources said "We're especially pleased by the antlerless-deer portion of the harvest."
