CALHOUN MAN CHARGED WITH STEALING WALMART COMPUTERS - Mud Fork Man Pleads Guilty To DUI-3rd

A Calhoun man has been charged with stealing computers from Spencer's Wal-Mart.

Ned Gipson, 41, of 4505 Arnoldsburg Road, pled guilty to shoplifting. destruction of property and driving DUI in Roane magistrate court.

Police said Gipson stole three computers from WalMart in January, and in one instance broke a fourth computer while trying to break it out of a display case.

He was placed on six months home confinement and ordered to pay $864 in restitution, in addition to $125 in fines and court fees.

Jerry Allen Burton, 57, of Mud Fork Road, Chloe, was indicted in Roane Circuit Court for a driving DUI-3rd offense.

He has pled guilty and received a maximum sentence of 1-3 years.
