| Teresa A. (Whited) Pettry, 52, of Elizabeth WV passed away Feb. 13, 2016 at her residence. Teresa was born in Wood County WV, June 21, 1963 the daughter of the late Charles L. Whited and Garnet (Ashby) Whited of Elizabeth. She was a Christian by faith. She enjoyed being with her friends and family, but most of all she loved her grandchildren. In addition to her mother, Teresa is survived by 3 daughters, Sheila (Jimmy Lillstrung) Pettry of Elizabeth, Tywanna (Ethan Howells) Pettry of Painsville OH, and Amanda Pettry of Elucid OH; stepson, Allen L. (Francis) Pettry of KY; grandchildren, Autumn and Juleah Lillstrung, Nevaeh and Elijah Howells, Talyn Pettry, and Demetris and Amarrion Bolden; and step grandson, Allen Jr. Pettry; brothers, Donald (Kim) Whited, Mike Whited and Terry Whited all of Elizabeth; sister, Sherry Whited of Elizabeth; brothers and sisters- in-law, Kenneth (Donna) Pettry of FL, Ronald (Violet) Pettry of Palestine WV, Rita (Dale) Hurst of Burning Springs WV, Shian (Don) Gordon of PA, Wanda (Blair) Salsbury of Mineral Wells WV; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; husband, Lloyd "Pete" Pettry; brother, Gregory Whited; niece, Sarah Salsbury; nephews, Leo "Bo" Pettry and Michael Pettry; brother-in-law, Donald Pettry, sisters-in-law, Linda Trader and Deanna Pettry. Services will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with Pastor Dean Ash officiating. Visitation will be Thursday Feb. 18, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service. Interment will be Palestine Cemetery (Thorn Addition) at a later date.
