Monday AM - A Flood Watch in effect from 1 PM EST this afternoon through Tuesday morning for Calhoun and several regional counties. The National Weather Service in Charleston says rain will overspread the area later today and continue tonight, becoming heavy at times overnight.

Indications are 1 to 1.5 inches of rain may fall tonight.

While the snowpack should absorb some of the rainfall initially... expectations are that much of the snow will melt overnight. With the ground nearly frozen additional rain will likely fall as runoff into creeks and streams.
