A 76-year-old Spencer pedestrian has died after being struck by a car Friday
morning about 7 a.m. Junior Harris was apparently crossing the street near the
junction of Market Street and the Charleston Bypass when the accident
happened.
He was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center by HealthNet, where he died from
multiple injuries.
Officials reported the driver of the vehicle was Chris Starcher. Spencer City Police
are investigating the matter.
Funeral arrangements will be completed at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home.
