Hallie Louise Clarkson, 94 - Clover

Hallie Louise Clarkson, 94, of Clover, West Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Roane General Hospital in Spencer, West Virginia.

She was born October 30, 1921 in Roane County, a daughter of the late Aud and Louise Argabrite Schreckengost.

She was a retired nurses aide at the Spencer State Hospital and attended the Jehovah's Witness church.

She is survived by three sisters, Marjorie Tolley, Michie Seabolt, and Emma Grace Runnion, all of Spencer; two grandchildren, Matthew Clarkson of Clover and Jessica Clarkson of Huntington, West Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Dalton, Rhyannah, and Dillon Clarkson; and a daughter-in-law, Susan Clarkson of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Clarkson; two sons, Larry and Frederick "Mike" Clarkson; a grandson, Michael Clarkson; and three brothers, Charles, John, and Elmer Schreckengost.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Spencer with Bob Barnett and Rodney Perkins officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date at the Clover Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, 206 Beauty Street, Spencer, WV 25276 for funeral expenses.
