He was born November 20, 1929 in Rosedale WV, a son of the late Lewis and Ursla Dobbins Bishop.

He was a musician and loved music.

He is survived by wife, Wanda Bishop of Sutton; brothers, Chester Bishop and Edward Bishop, both of Sutton; and sister, Hazel Brown of Sutton.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

A private family service will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg.
