The NWS (6 p.m. Friday) says the Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 PM EST Saturday, with hazardous, heavy snow.

The NWS says for Calhoun and region accumulation of 12 to 18 inches.

At 9 p.m. the snowfall was 13 1/2 inches in the Village of Hur.

No accidents reported in the county by Saturday night, although a number of people reported being stuck.

A few small power outages are reported in regional counties.

Officials say only travel in an emergency.
