Joan Stalnaker - Ohio

Joan Stalnaker, born July 24, 1933, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2016. She was preceded in death by her dearly loved and missed husband, Maynard Paul Stalnaker, her dearly loved and missed daughter, Doris June Stalnaker, her mother, Ruie Gay Fulks, and sisters Helen M. Rumschlag (Leonard) and Jerrie M. Proffit (Ted). She is survived by her dearly loved son, David Paul Stalnaker; her best friend Hollyhock; sisters, Sandy K. Funk (Allen) and Carol A. Funk (Ronnie), and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends were always the most important thing to Joanne. She loved us all. She will be missed. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Trinity Church of God, 1752 Williams St. Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 44221 with visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Services will also be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Elmira Baptist Church, 6486 Servia Rd., Duck, WV 25063 at 12:00 noon with visitation one hour prior. Pastors Fred Webb and Jeremy Raby officiating. Burial will follow at Elmira Baptist Church Cemetery. Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, Barberton, Ohio
