FIRE DESTROYS MOBILE HOME ALONG US 33-119 - Firemen Face Frigid Temperatures

Fire completely destroyed a mobile home along US 33-119 east of Sand Ridge Wednesday night.

Calhoun 911 said the structure was completely engulfed when they received the call at 6:48 p.m.

The Arnoldsburg and Upper West Fork Volunteer Fire Departments responded to the fire with Minnie Hamilton EMS.

The temperature was hovering at 20 degrees.

The dwelling was owned by Brenda Holcomb and reportedly occupied by her family members.

Unconfirmed reports said family members were attempting to thaw frozen water lines.
