A vehicle crashed and burned at Sand Ridge Tuesday afternoon at 2:35 p.m. during the winter's first measurable snowfall.

Road conditions are hazardous in area counties with multiple pile ups and crashes.

The Calhoun accident happened near the top of Sand Ridge Hill, US 33-119.

The two occupants were reportedly not seriously injured. Roane EMS responded, all Calhoun ambulances having responded to other calls.

The Arnoldsburg VFD responded to the incident.

Roads were hazardous in the county.
