ROANE'S ROUND KNOB CHURCH SEEN BETTER DAYS

Roane County's Round Knob Church has been closed for many years and is now falling into itself, with a memory of church goers that worshiped since the late 1800s. The church is located at the intersection of Sinnett Run and Round Knob Road, a rural area off Speed-Stringtown Road which leads from US 119 (Charleston Road), the Village of Speed. A short distance away is the Round Knob Cemetery, where many of the early settlers repose.
